INDY Race Coming to Charm City!

If you haven’t already heard – You need to read an article by Mike Unger, It’s Official: Car Racing Coming to Baltimore

Having previously lived in Long Beach, California – I know what a thrilling event this can be. Every year Long Beach hosts a Grand Prix. Not only does it boost the economy but it is a terrific event.

I saw another article that shows that the City is really taking to making improvements!! (About time) Apparently, two lanes of Pratt Street are closed between Greene and Calvert Streets. They’re the latest closures on a long list. The plan is to get ready for the 2011 Grand Prix, a 2.5-mile course, wrapping around the Inner Harbor, Light, Pratt and Russell Streets near Camden Yards.

This is going to be exciting. As I hear more I will pass information along.
